Fourth Ward Holiday Sip & Stroll is CANCELED

Fourth Ward Holiday Sip & Stroll is CANCELED

This is a difficult message to deliver.

The 2020 Fourth Ward “Sip & Stroll” holiday tour event has been canceled due to the rapid rise of reported pandemic infections in the region.

The current COVID-19 surge made us reconsider the “Sip & Stroll” event.

Despite our strict adherence to all the protocols advised by county and state health officials, our most important mission is to ensure the health and safety of attendees, residents, vendors, performers, and all involved in the event.

We are saddened by the cancellation and even more so by this raging pandemic. We imagine you might be as well.

These are trying times, and this is the first full cancelation of a  Fourth Ward Holiday Tour in the 43-year history of the event!

Of course, the cancellation is a sad shock, but through it all, we are grateful for your patronage and support of Friends of Fourth Ward.

If you bought tickets to the event, we have refunded all purchases and everyone has received notice.

This seems like an odd time to ask for your help, but we have an awkward but important  request to ask of you.

If you were a ticket buyer and are able, would you please consider donating your refund to the Friends of Fourth Ward? it is easily done and would go a long way in helping fulfill FOFW’s Christmas wish.  Click here. Thank you!

If you weren’t a tour ticket buyer, but still wish to help FOFW during these strange times, please click here. Thank you!

In the meantime, we wish you and yours a splendid, safe, and meaningful Holiday season and New Year.

Please stay safe and mindful in the moment,
Your Friends of Fourth Ward
