The event for Alexander Michaels was a big success.

The Friends of Fourth Ward in conjunction with the Charlotte Symphony and Alexander Michaels Restaurant and Tavern hosted a small socially distanced event, last Friday, October 2nd, in support of the staff of Alexander Michaels Restaurant and Tavern.

With the gracious support from Susan and Loy McKeithan, The Friends of Fourth Ward hosted a seated dinner on their gorgeous lawn on West 9th St.

Music was provided by The Groundcrew before the symphony trio performance and after. Tables with umbrellas were decorated by a small social committee consisting of Friends of Fourth Ward President Miller Winecoff, Social director Heidi Haynes, along with Robin Cochran, Susan Carr, Shirley Cress Dudley, and Louise Ripple. The event was supported very well by Fourth Ward residents and their friends with a total donation of $5,000.

The Symphony performed again in our Fourth Ward Neighborhood two additional dates:

Friday, October 16th, 7pm
427 Pine Street
(Corner of Pine and W. 8th St. near the small fountain)
On the porch of Jim and Gloria Reneger’s home.

The Symphony Trio played at this event.
Amy Orsinger Whitehead, flute
Hollis Ulaky, oboe
Sam Sparrow, clarinet
